Cancellation Policy

Because of our Hampton Beach, NH Motel's size, cancellations affect us significantly. For any cancellation or change of dates, we must receive 14 days* notice prior to your confirmed arrival for a refund of your deposit, less a $35 fee per room. If any full or partial cancellation or change of dates is made within 14 days,* regardless of the reason, you are financially responsible for the entire reservation, unless we can re-book your room.

* For group reservations of five rooms or more a 60-day cancellation period applies.

Travel Insurance

We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. For this reason we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. The Tides will be happy to supply your travel insurance company with any needed documentation regarding our policy and your reservation. For insurance information please visit www.insuremytrip.com.


Rates as shown or quoted over the phone are based on per night double occupancy and are subject to the 8.50% New Hampshire Lodging Tax. Availability and rates for specific dates can be viewed by clicking on the "Reservations" link.


We require a deposit on all reservations. Reservations of 1-2 nights require a 1 night deposit: 3-6 nights, a 2 night deposit. A week or more 50% deposit. Payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

Additional Person

There is a $20.00 charge for each additional person in a room. Two children 12 years of age and under stay free in parents room. Please note our maximum occupancy for each room.


Royal Crest Inn welcomes well-behaved children of all ages. Two Children under 12 stay free with parents. At this time, we are not able to provide any cribs or pack ‘n plays. Sorry, we do not accept pets.

Check-in and Check-out Times

Check-in is between 3:00 and 10:00 pm, unless prior arrangements have been made. If you are going to be delayed past 9:00 pm, please call us at (603-926-8441) and let us know. Check-out time is 10:30 am.


Royal Crest Inn offers ONE complimentary parking space per room from 3pm on CHECK IN day until 10:30 A.M on CHECK OUT day. Cars must be removed upon check out.

We are a Smoke-Free Hotel

Royal Crest Inn is a 100% non-smoking property. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be imposed to any room where guests have smoked with disregard for our policy.

Guest Responsibility

While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.
